New Delhi, May 19 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Tuesday said that the Centre, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has been working towards building a modern, world-class and future-ready infrastructure network for the national capital, to tackle long-standing issues such as traffic congestion and rising pollution.

Gupta also expressed gratitude towards union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari for launching a series of landmark road and connectivity projects across Delhi and the NCR.

Union Minister Gadkari, along with Delhi CM, Minister Harsh Mahotra, Delhi Minister Parvesh Verma, MP Ramvir Bidhuri and others conducted an inspection of the DND-Faridabad-Sohna access controlled highway project.
