New York, Sept. 22 -- The G7 Foreign Ministers have strongly condemned continued Houthi attacks in Yemen and against Saudi Arabia, including strikes affecting civilians and civilian infrastructure, and called on Iran to halt its military and other support for the group.
In a joint statement, the foreign ministers of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States, along with the European Union's High Representative, warned that the escalating situation in Yemen poses a serious threat to regional stability, global energy security and maritime navigation in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab Strait.
