Bengaluru, July 27 -- The Foundation for Science Innovation and Development (FSID) on Monday signed an agreement with the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) to establish a new Centre of Excellence (CoE) at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), aimed at accelerating indigenous research and innovation in advanced communication technologies.
The CoE, to be hosted by FSID at IISc, will focus on research in wireless communications, quantum technologies, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence-based applications. It will also support joint research, prototype development, intellectual property creation, startups, and academic-industry collaboration in emerging telecom technologies.
