New Delhi, March 13 -- From the classroom to the throwing circle, teaching professional Lakshmi scripted a memorable moment as she clinched gold in the women's shot put F36/F37/F40 event at the World Para Athletics Grand Prix, crediting years of hard work and consistent training for the achievement.
Speaking to UNI after her victory, Lakshmi said the medal was the result of long-term dedication and daily practice.
"I am very happy now that I am a gold medallist in shot put. I will continue to practise hard and work harder to win more medals," she said.
