Ekta Nagar (Kevadia), Sept. 26 -- For years, their world revolved around their homes and families. Today, they navigate the streets of Ekta Nagar, welcoming visitors from across the country and introducing them to the land they call home.
Dressed in pink kurtas, salwars and jackets, these women from Gujarat's Tadvi tribal community have become a familiar sight behind the wheels of electric autos. Their journeys are no longer confined to the familiar lanes of their neighbourhoods. They now take them to the Statue of Unity, tourist attractions and a future they are building on their own terms.
