Lucknow, Aug. 3 -- An eco retreat near Dudhwa National Park, redevelopment of a tourist bungalow within the Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad Bird Sanctuary, and new pilgrim corridors at Naimisharanya are among the projects intended to position Lucknow as a gateway to the wider tourism potential of its division.

Uttar Pradesh Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh on Monday reviewed proposed and ongoing projects across the Lucknow division with legislators, public representatives, and senior officials of the Tourism, Culture and Religious Affairs Departments. The meeting brought urban culture, pilgrimage destinations, forest tourism, and cultural infrastructure into a common development plan.
