New Delhi, May 24 -- The Indian Air Force (IAF) today inducted a fresh batch of highly trained Garud commandos into its elite Special Forces unit following the successful completion of an intensive training programme at the Garud Regimental Training Centre (GRTC), Air Force Station Chandinagar.

The occasion was marked by the traditional Maroon Beret Ceremonial Parade, symbolising the transformation of trainees into fully qualified Special Forces operators. Air Vice Marshal Rahul Gupta, Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Operations-Space), reviewed the parade as the chief guest and congratulated the commandos on successfully completing one of the most demanding military training regimens in the country.
