Bengaluru, July 4 -- A court-directed investigation has been ordered into the suspicious death of a 42-year-old man in Vijayanagar police limits of Bengaluru, after allegations of possible negligence and domestic discord surfaced in a fresh complaint.
According to police, the case has been registered under Section 106 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023, at Vijayanagar Police Station following directions from the XXIV Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Court.
The complaint filed by Rajugowda alleges that S Nagachandra, a resident of Vijayanagar, died under questionable circumstances on October 24, 2024, after consuming medicines and alcohol while undergoing treatment.
