Mumbai, Aug. 20 -- Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) Minister Shambhuraj Desai on Thursday launched a scathing attack on the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena (UBT), accusing the faction of attempting to undermine the core ideals and legacy of the party's founder, the late Balasaheb Thackeray.
Desai's remarks came in response to the UBT faction's recent plea before the Supreme Court seeking the freezing of Shiv Sena's iconic 'Bow and Arrow' election symbol.
Strongly opposing the demand, Desai said the symbol held deep emotional and ideological significance for Balasaheb Thackeray and the party's workers.
