Hyderabad, Sept. 21 -- Prominent freedom fighter and veteran Communist leader Etukuri Krishnamurthy (104) passed away due to illness at CARE Banjara Hospital here at 2230 hours on Sunday, CPI Telangana State Secretary and MLA Koonamneni Sambasiva Rao said.
His mortal remains will be kept at Makhdoom Bhavan, the CPI Telangana State Office, here on Monday between 1030 hours and 1100 hours for the public to pay their last respects.
The final rites will be performed at 1500 hours at Mahaprasthanam in Jubilee Hills, he said.
