Panchkula, July 10 -- Four alleged shooters were killed and another was critically injured in an encounter with Gurugram Police late Thursday night after they allegedly opened fire on a businessman's residence as part of an extortion-linked plot, a Haryana Police spokesperson said on Friday.
Three policemen also sustained bullet injuries during the exchange of fire.
According to the spokesperson, the accused allegedly targeted the residence of businessman Vishal Bairi around 9:50 pm in a black Scorpio SUV with its registration plates concealed.
