Thiruvananthapuram, May 27 -- Four persons were taken into police custody on Wednesday in connection with the attack on Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials, following hours of tense negotiations outside the CPM Palaayam Area Committee office here.
Police said 12 persons have so far been identified in connection with the incident. Those taken into custody include DYFI Nemam Area Committee President Sreejith and several others who had allegedly taken shelter inside the CPM office premises after the attack.
