Mumbai, Aug. 12 -- Sakinaka Police have arrested four persons from Uttar Pradesh allegedly involved in the burglary of a scrap shop office in Asalpha and recovered 22 kg of silver and two mobile phones worth Rs 44.30 lakh, officials said on Wednesday.

The burglary took place on the night of July 25 at the office of S.P. Enterprises, where unidentified persons allegedly broke open the lock and entered the premises.

According to the complaint filed by scrap shop owner Mohammed Hussain Abdul Karim Khan, the accused allegedly stole Rs 2 lakh in cash, 22 kg of silver and two mobile phones kept in a drawer. The total value of the stolen property was estimated at Rs 46.40 lakh.
