Patna, Aug. 30 -- At least four people allegedly died after consuming spurious liquor in Bedhna village's Saidpur Tola under the Barh police station area of Patna district on Sunday.
According to police, the four men had reportedly consumed liquor after eating fish at a hut in Saidpur Tola. Shortly afterwards, they developed frothing from their mouths and fell unconscious.
They were initially taken to the Barh Sub-Divisional Hospital, where they received primary treatment before being referred to Patna for further treatment.
However, all four died on the way to Patna, the sources said.
The deceased have been identified as Nishu Kumar (30), Pankaj Singh (45), Shashi Kumar (32) and Vikas Ram (40).
