Chandrapur, July 10 -- : Four labourers from Pawana Chak village in Sindewahi taluka of Chandrapur district were killed and 27 others injured in a road accident at Ramagundam in Telangana, police said on Friday.
The victims had migrated to Telangana for seasonal paddy transplantation work. The accident occurred on Thursday evening around 6.30 pm when the labourers were returning after completing their day's work.
The impact of the collision was severe, killing four labourers on the spot. The deceased have been identified as Atul Vasudev Sonule (45), Archana Janardan Sonule (40), Prabha Sitaram Mohurle (56) and Ranjana Prabhakar Shende (50). Three of the deceased were women.
