Shravasti, March 21 -- After Varanasi Iftaar Party on Ganga River, another sensitive incident has come to light in Shravasti district of Uttar Pradesh, where police have arrested four individuals accused of consuming non-vegetarian food and allegedly discarding bones near a sacred water stream located close to Sonpathri Ashram, police said on Saturday.
According to police reports, the accused-identified as Jamal Ahmad, Irfan Ahmad, Imran Ahmad alias Immi, and Zaheer Khan-were taken into custody after a video of the incident circulated widely on social media, triggering public outrage in the area.
