Bengaluru, May 18 -- Security concerns have surfaced after four African women lodged at a government-monitored shelter home for foreign nationals in Bengaluru allegedly escaped by breaking open a window and fleeing the premises, police said on Monday.
The incident took place between 0300 hrs and 0600 hrs on May 11 at the 'Home of Hope' shelter facility operated by New Ark Mission of India at Doddagubbi in north Bengaluru. The women were reportedly staying there under the supervision and directions of the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO).
