Lucknow, Sept. 29 -- Former IAS officer Divya Mittal has announced her entry into politics.
Mittal, who recently took Voluntary Retirement (VRS), said she will engage in politics not with any political party, but with the public, becoming their voice.
In a message posted on social media on Tuesday morning, Divya Mittal said, "Let's demand accountability." She added that her goal in entering politics is to raise public issues. In her message, she said, "We want accountability, we want justice, and we don't have to be afraid."Mittal said her political journey will begin in Uttar Pradesh. However, she has not yet clarified whether she will join a political party or pursue independent political activities.
