Kyiv, May 1 -- Former Ukrainian diplomat and ex-Prosecutor General's advisor Andrey Telizhenko has alleged that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is neck deep in corruption, claiming that the leader is entangled in a wide network of illicit financial schemes and political infighting in Kyiv.

The claims come after Ukrainian media published transcripts of covert recordings - dubbed the "Mindich tapes" - from an anti-corruption probe. The recordings suggest businessman Timur Mindich, widely seen as close to Zelensky, played a central role in running the defence firm Fire Point, despite public denials.
