Hyderabad, May 6 -- Former Director General of Police (DGP) B. Shivadhar Reddy, IPS (Retd.), on Wednesday formally assumed charge as the State Security Advisor (SSA) to the Government of Telangana at the Integrated Command and Control Centre in Hyderabad.
The Telangana Government recently appointed Shivadhar Reddy as the State Security Advisor for a period of three years.
In his new role, he will advise the State Government on matters related to policing, law and order, internal security, crime control, narcotics control and road safety.
Shivadhar Reddy is known for his extensive field experience in internal security and anti-Naxal operations.
