Chandigarh, May 3 -- In a significant political development in Haryana, former MLA Lakshman Napa has rejoined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) after a short tenure with the Congress.
Napa officially returned to the party fold in Uklana, Hisar, in the presence of BJP State President Mohan Lal Badoli and Fatehabad District President Praveen Jora.
The former legislator said that his decision to return to his "home" was driven by the impactful policies and leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nayab Saini.
Napa, along with several supporters, has pledged to play a pivotal role in strengthening the BJP's base in the Ratia constituency.
