Chennai, July 15 -- DMK strongman and former Tamil Nadu Highways and PWD Minister EV Velu on Wednesday appeared before the officials Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC) case in the case relating to alleged corruption in highway contract and road infrastructure works.

In compliance with the Madras High Court orders while staying the Look out Circular (LOC) issued against him on Juy 9, that he should appear before the DVAC Investigating Officer for enquiry on July 15, Velu appeared before the anti-corruption agency for questioning.
