Bengaluru, March 13 -- Former Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Friday launched a strong attack on the Siddaramaiah-led Congress government, accusing it of deliberately delaying internal reservation and diverting funds meant for backward communities, calling it a "stark betrayal" of SC, ST, and OBC welfare.

Addressing a press conference, Bommai said, "In the last budget, Rs 441 crore was earmarked for OBC welfare, yet the entire amount was diverted to the general exchequer.
