Jerusalem, Aug. 2 -- Israeli EuroLeague basketball club Hapoel Tel Aviv has announced the signing of American guard Eugene German, who spent the past four seasons in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA).

The 28-year-old played for the Qingdao Eagles, Fujian Sturgeons and Beijing Ducks, averaging 24 points, 5.1 assists and 4.4 rebounds in 175 regular-season CBA games.

During his two seasons with Beijing, German averaged 19.9 points in 20 playoff games. Hehelped Beijing reach the CBA Finals in 2025, where the team lost 4-2 to Zhejiang Lions, andthe semifinals last season, falling 3-1 to eventual champion Shanghai Sharks.
