Kangra, April 9 -- Vice Chairperson of Himachal Road Transport Corporation, Ajay Verma on Thursday inaugurated a forest rest house built at a cost of Rs 22 lakh in Purana Kangra.
Speaking on the occasion, Verma said forest wealth is the crown of Himachal Pradesh and lauded forest officials and staff for their vital role in its protection. He thanked the state government for continuous support in carrying out development works in the Kangra Assembly constituency.
He said the newly-constructed rest house at the scenic site would boost tourism and assured further support for additional facilities.
Verma also discussed possibilities of developing the area as a tourist destination.
