Thimphu/New Delhi, July 31 -- Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri received an audience with Bhutanese King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck in Thimphu on Friday, during which he briefed the king on the progress in bilateral development cooperation.
Foreign Secretary Misri was visiting Bhutan, from July 30-31 at the invitation of his Bhutanese counterpart Pema Lektup Dorji, to co-chair the 5th bilateral Development Cooperation Talks (Plan Talks) for the 13th Five Year Plan (FYP) of Bhutan.
During his audience with the King, the monarch informed him about developments at the Gelephu Mindfulness City, and reiterated his support for strengthening bilateral ties, the Indian Embassy said in a tweet.
