Bhubaneswar, July 30 -- Odisha Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari on Thursday said the flood situation in the state was under control and the government was taking all possible measures to tackle the crisis arising out of incessant rainfall and rising river water levels.
Pujari, who chaired a marathon review meeting at Lok Seva Bhawan to assess the flood situation, appreciated the coordinated efforts of the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC), district administrations and various rescue agencies in managing the situation effectively.
He directed officials to continue working with dedication and a sense of responsibility until floodwaters completely recede and normalcy is restored in the affected areas.
