Chennai, July 13 -- Five time winners Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Monday parted ways with its head coach and former New Zeland cricket Stephen Fleming, a vital cog who has been with the team right from the inaugural edition in 2008.

A statement from CSK said the Super Kings and Stephen Fleming have decided to mutually part ways, bringing to a close one of the most successful and enduring partnerships in the history of theIndian Premier League (IPL).

The decision was reached with respect and gratitude, following a series of open and honest discussions between Fleming and the Super Kings management, it said.
