Srinagar, Aug. 26 -- Security forces on Wednesday apprehended five suspected terrorist associates and recovered arms and ammunition during a joint search operation in Bugam area of south Kashmir's Kulgam district, Army said in a post on X.
Based on specific intelligence inputs, a joint operation was launched by the Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF in the general area of Bugam, Kulgam.
During the search operation, five suspected individuals were apprehended and war-like stores, including four 9mm pistols, four pistol magazines, two hand grenades and ammunition, were recovered, the Army's Chinar Corps said in a post on X.
