Neeraj Bali, June 17 -- Five young men from Punjab who had been stranded in Lebanon amid escalating regional tensions have safely returned to India, thanks to a coordinated rescue effort involving humanitarian organisation Khalsa Aid, Indian authorities, and the Indian mission in Beirut.

The operation was launched after the youths found themselves caught in increasingly uncertain conditions in Lebanon, where growing instability had raised concerns for foreign nationals. Their safe return was made possible through close coordination between Khalsa Aid, the Indian Embassy in Beirut, and former Foreign Secretary Taranjit Singh Sandhu.
