Satish SethKaithal, Sept. 19 -- Scientific management of crop residues, rather than burning them in the field, helps maintain declining soil fertility and improve soil health, said experts at a training program organized on crop residue management at the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kaithal of Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar.

The five-day programme concluded on Saturday.

These trainings were organized from September 15 to September 19, 2026, in which a total of 50 participants took part.

During the training, scientists of the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, scientists of the Rice Research Institute, Kaul and officials of the Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department gave important information to the farmers on various agric...
