Mumbai, Oct. 19 -- The firing at Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff's vehicle in Mumbai has revived memories of the murder of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique, with investigators probing a possible link to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
Both incidents occurred around the Dussehra festival period. Siddique was shot dead outside his son Zeeshan Siddique's office in Bandra East on October 12, 2024. On Sunday evening, unidentified assailants opened fire at Shroff's vehicle in Juhu, injuring his driver and another person.
Shroff escaped direct bullet injuries, although Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde later said the actor had suffered a gunpowder burn on his right hand.
