Mumbai, July 14 -- Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde launched a blistering political offensive today, accusing the Shiv Sena (UBT) faction of abandoning its core principles and fostering anarchy in the state.
Shinde launched a sharp critique against Uddhav Thackeray, particularly targeting the UBT faction's recent alignment with the ongoing protest led by activist Sonam Wangchuk and their revival of the 'Ram Raksha' agitation.
Dismissing the opposition's recent political maneuvers as hypocritical, the Deputy Chief Minister remarked that those who once penalised citizens for reciting the Hanuman Chalisa now find sudden political convenience in the Ram Raksha.
