Lucknow, July 20 -- A massive fire broke out at Jawahar Bhawan, a multi-storey government office complex in Hazratganj, Lucknow, on Monday morning, causing panic.
At the time of the fire, various offices in the building were open and a large number of employees were present. The entire building was evacuated promptly, resulting in no casualties.
According to eyewitnesses, the fire broke out around 10 am and quickly engulfed the fifth floor of Jawahar Bhawan. The black smoke rising from the fire was visible from several kilometers away, spreading panic in the surrounding area.
Upon receiving the information, several fire brigade vehicles arrived at the scene and began an operation to control the fire.
