Moscow, Aug. 2 -- : A fire broke out at a warehouse operated by Russian e-commerce giant Wildberries in the Samara region on Sunday after it was struck in a Ukrainian drone attack, the company said.

Samara Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev said earlier that a Ukrainian drone had hit a Wildberries warehouse in the region.

Confirming the incident, Wildberries said the drone attack triggered a fire at one of its logistics facilities.

"An attack on one of the company's logistics facilities in the Samara Region has caused a fire. Firefighters are working at the scene. Preliminary reports indicate there are no casualties," the company said in a post on its Telegram channel.
