Mahoba, May 23 -- An FIR has been filed against Uttar Pradesh Congress president Ajay Rai at the Mahoba police station on Saturday for allegedly making derogatory remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The complaint was filed by advocate Neeraj Rawat, outgoing state Congress secretary Brijraj Ahirwar, and 30 other party supporters.
According to the complaint, Ajay Rai, who was on a visit to Mahoba yesterday, allegedly made derogatory remarks against PM Modi. A case has been registered at the City Kotwali police station, and an investigation has begun.
The FIR has been registered as No. 0235 under Section 173B of the BNSS. The case has been lodged under Sections 126(2), 352, 196(1), 189(2), and 132 of the BNS.
