New Delhi, May 19 -- Finance Ministry on Tuesday dismissed reports and social media claims suggesting the government plans to monetise gold held by temples and religious institutions across the country, calling the allegations "completely false, misleading, and without any basis."It said that speculation about a proposed monetisation scheme for gold held by temple trusts or any other religious institutions is entirely baseless.
