New Delhi, Aug. 11 -- India women's team captain Salima Tete is targeting nothing less than gold at the FIH Hockey World Cup 2026, with the team heading into the tournament high on confidence after winning the Nations Cup in New Zealand.
India went unbeaten at the Nations Cup in Auckland in June before beating hosts New Zealand 2-0 in the final to lift the title. Tete believes that success has given the squad the belief needed to compete for the biggest prize at the World Cup.
