Patna, Oct. 25 -- Bihar Agriculture Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha on Sunday said protecting agricultural land was essential for farmer's prosperity and called for collective efforts to conserve soil and water resources and promote sustainable farming practices.
The minister said here that the Agriculture Department would launch the ''Khet Bachao Abhiyan 2026-cum-Krishi Jan Kalyan Samvad Programme'' from Muzaffarpur on Monday. The campaign will continue across the state until November 30.
