New Delhi, Oct. 22 -- Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has given clear instructions that negligence at any level will not be tolerated to provide clean environment to the people, especially during the festivities.
Gupta, on Wednesday chaired a high level meeting in view of the upcoming festivals, and has directed the departments concerned to improve sanitation arrangements across the city.
The Municipal Corporation has been instructed to initiate night-shift cleaning operations across various colonies and markets.
Gupta has also given directions to agencies for immediate rectifications in the overall system, removal of garbage dumps, and ensuring regular cleaning.
