Bhubaneswar, June 1 -- In an initiative to provide direct market access to mango growers and promote naturally ripened fruits among consumers, the Odisha Rural Development and Marketing Society (ORMAS), under the Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Department, on Monday inaugurated the Mango Festival-2026 in Bhubaneswar.

The festival was formally inaugurated by Rural Development, Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Minister Ravi Narayan Naik, who underscored the importance of strengthening direct farmer-consumer linkages and ensuring better returns for mango cultivators across the state.
