Pune, Aug. 8 -- Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe on Saturday warned that no compromise would be tolerated on the quality and safety of food and beverages, announcing that the department would intensify inspections of alcoholic as well as non-alcoholic drinks.
Speaking at a special interview programme, 'Unstoppable Tukaram', organised under the 'Bhavishyavedh - Samvad Bhavishyacha' initiative by Pune Local and My Jansevak at Balgandharva Rangmandir, Mr Mundhe said complaints of adulteration in beverages were increasing.
