Hyderabad, June 21 -- Conditions are favourable for the further advance of the Southwest Monsoon into some more parts of Maharashtra, Telangana, Odisha, Jharkhand and Bihar, as well as parts of Chhattisgarh, around June 23, the Meteorological Centre said on Sunday.
In its daily weather report, the Centre said heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places across Telangana from June 22 to 27.
Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds with speeds of 50-60 kmph are likely to occur at isolated places in the state during the next seven days. Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are also likely at a few places during the same period.
