Agartala, June 28 -- Two alleged family killings in Tripura in 24 hours have sparked widespread shock and renewed attention to the devastating impact of narcotic drug use, domestic violence, and unresolved family conflicts.
According to police control here, in Ultachhara ADC Village in Gandacherra under Tripura's Dhalai district, a father, Lalchuanawma Bru, is accused of brutally murdering his two minor children after becoming violent following alcohol consumption last evening.
Despite his wife fleeing with one of their children for safety, the accused attacked the remaining children inside the house, resulting in the tragic deaths of his 13-year-old daughter and four-year-old son.
