Srinagar, Aug. 13 -- Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and National Conference president Farooq Abdullah on Thursday urged the union Home Minister Amit Shah to investigate the selective threats to Kashmir Pandit employees in the Valley.
Speaking to reporters, Abdullah questioned why Kashmiri Pandit employees had been specifically targeted when people from different communities, including Hindus and leaders from various political parties, were living and working in Kashmir.
"I am surprised. Why have they been threatened? Where did the threat come from? There are not only Kashmiri Pandits here. There are other people here. There are government officers who are Hindus. There are all kinds of party leaders here," Abdullah said.
