Faridabad, July 19 -- In one of its most aggressive crackdowns on habitual offenders in recent years, Faridabad Police has launched a district-wide verification and surveillance drive targeting criminals involved in heinous offences over the past decade.

Under the RJSF (Repeat/Registered Serious Felons) Pilot Project, police have identified 628 accused who jumped bail or disappeared after securing release from courts, while legal proceedings have now been initiated against their sureties to compel their appearance before the judiciary.
