New Delhi, Aug. 5 -- Delhi Police's Cyber Police Station in Dwarka has busted an alleged fake investment call centre operating from a shopping mall in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, and arrested six people accused of duping investors through bogus stock market and forex trading schemes, said officials on Wednesday.
The action came during the investigation of a five-month-old cyber fraud complaint by a resident of Uttam Nagar in West Delhi. The victim alleged that he was duped of Rs 17.3 lakh after being lured to invest on a fake online trading platform, said the Police officials.
