Shimla, March 5 -- Shimla Police are investigating a fake Facebook profile created using the name and photograph of Shimla Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap.
According to officials, the Deputy Commissioner submitted a formal complaint to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Shimla, after it came to light that an unidentified person had created a fraudulent Facebook account impersonating him.
Sources said on Thursday that the cyber team is examining digital footprints and technical details linked to the account in order to identify the culprit.
