Hyderabad, Aug. 11 -- Telangana BJP president N Ramchander Rao on Tuesday demanded that the State government provide fair compensation to people losing their land, houses, and other property due to the expansion of the Rajiv Highway.
Ramchander Rao participated in a protest organised by the affected people at Kharkhana and extended the BJP's support to their demand. He said the people were not opposed to development and were cooperating with the highway expansion being taken up in the public interest.
