Mumbai, June 29 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Monday lauded the Pune District and Sessions Court's verdict, which sentenced Bhimrao Kamble to death for the brutal rape and murder of a three-and-a-half-year-old girl in Nasrapur (Bhor taluka).
Describing the verdict as a historic and significant step toward ensuring justice for the victim's family, the Chief Minister stated that such perpetrators have no place in a civilized society.
